Program Information

Boys

3rd Grade

  • 3rd grade teams will participate in tournaments throughout the season.

  • Tournament locations and dates will be determined by the coaches.

4th & 5th Grade

  • These teams will participate in the WYBL (Wisconsin Youth Basketball League), primarily held in the Milwaukee area.

  • Teams will play two league games every other Sunday.

  • Game schedules will be communicated directly by the coaches.

  • In addition to league play, teams will also compete in selected tournaments, with dates and locations determined by the coaching staff.

If registration numbers allow, we will form two equal teams at each grade level.
Tryouts are required for all boys in 4th and 5th grade.

6th–8th Grade

Red Teams

  • Red teams will compete in the WYBL league (Milwaukee area)

  • Two league games every other Sunday.

  • Red teams will compete in the Wisconsin Premier Youth League

  • Additional tournament play throughout the season (dates/locations decided by coaches).

White Teams

  • White teams will participate in WYBL.

  • These teams will play in tournaments only throughout the season.

Tryouts are required for all boys in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade if there are enough players for multiple teams.

SEASON DETAILS & EXPECTATIONS

  • Once teams are rostered, coaches will communicate league game schedules, practice times, and tournament information.

  • Teams will participate in home tournaments held at Fond du Lac High School.

  • Home tournament dates will vary by team assignment.

  • Families are expected to volunteer during home tournament events. This is how you will be able to earn $50 of your fees back.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON TEAM SELECTION

Teams will typically consist of 8–12 players, based on skill level and team needs.
If a player is not selected for a team, they are strongly encouraged to:

  • Continue developing their skills through school-based recreational leagues

  • Participate in basketball camps offered by Fond du Lac High School programs

Girls

3rd–5th Grade

  • Teams will compete in the BADL League, along with participation in tournaments during the season.

  • League game dates will be communicated by the coaching staff.

  • In addition to league play, teams will also compete in select tournaments throughout the season.

If registration numbers allow for two teams at a grade level, players will attend an evaluation practice (date TBD) where they will be split evenly into balanced teams.

6th, 7th & 8th Grade

  • Teams will compete in the BADL League, along with participation in tournaments during the season.

  • All game and tournament schedules will be determined and shared by coaches.

If enough players register to form two teams, tryouts will be held to determine team placement.
